Providing Healing, Promoting Hope

March is Women’s History month. Proudly, as a black woman owned business, Tools for Success Counseling is so happy to have the opportunity to celebrate women everywhere. This month should not only be taken as the chance to celebrate your own successes but to learn and appreciate the women who fought so hard for our own modern freedoms and opportunities.
Women’s History Month was officially recognized in 1987, although there were earlier celebrations that led to the eventual recognition of this special month such as International Women’s Day which began to be recognized globally in 1910.
The activism of the National Women’s History Project in the ‘60s and ‘70s helped lead to the recognition of this special month. Each year, they announce a theme for Women’s History Month. For 2022, the theme is “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope” which not only recognizes the providers who have been on the frontlines of the COVID-19 but also pays tribute to all the women who have been healers over the years.
In a time where mental health has been thrust to the forefront of conversations, providers have been working harder than ever to care for everyone affected by the chaos of this world. To that we say, thank you. You have epitomized “Promoting Healing, Promoting Hope” and continue to do so every day.
And to all women everywhere, you are amazing. Thank you for your hard work and contributions. We will continue to make progress every day for the future of women everywhere.
